ATTENTION:
After 22 years of delivering babies, Dr. Labban made a tough decision to no longer provide prenatal care and delivery. His Last OB day will be on 6/30/2024.
No need to worry though, because Dr. Labban will still be providing GYN care.

Our Gynecological Healthcare Services
It is our mission at Women's Health to ensure that women of all ages receive superior healthcare services during whatever stage of their life they may be in. We offer a wide variety of gynecological healthcare services from preventive to problem-oriented services.
1Wellness Exam
A wellness exam, also known as a preventive health check-up, is a comprehensive evaluation designed to assess an individual's overall health and identify potential health issues before they become serious. Typically performed annually, the exam includes a thorough physical examination.
2Pap Smear
A pap smear, is a screening test used to detect abnormal cells on the cervix starting age 21. The provider gently collects cells from the cervix using a speculum, a small brush and a spatula. It is often combined with HPV testing. Follow-up intervals are based on age and previous results.
3Endometriosis Treatment
Endometriosis treatment aims to alleviate symptoms, and help with fertility. Options vary depending on the severity of the symptoms: pain relief medications, hormonal therapy, and lifestyle changes. For some, surgical interventions may be needed like laparoscopy or hysterectomy.
4Endometrial Biopsy
An endometrial biopsy is a procedure in which a small plastic tube is inserted into the vagina through the cervix into the uterine cavity. A small sampling of uterine cells is removed through a pipelle and is sent to pathology.
5Colposcopy
Colposcopy is a painless examination of the cervix and vagina with a colposcope. This exam is usually done between menstrual periods and generally takes less than ten minutes.
A woman lies down in the position used to take a pap smear and a speculum is inserted into the vagina to give a view of the cervix and vagina. After cleansing, the cervix and vagina are visualized through the colposcope. Biopsies are taken most of the time, except during pregnancy. You can take Tylenol or Ibuprofen before the procedure is done. You need to come in two weeks after the procedure to discuss results.
1Infertility Treatment
It is the inability to conceive after 6-12 months of unprotected intercourse. Work-up includes evaluation of hormonal imbalance, and pelvic organs, for women and semen analysis for men. Common treatments include medications that stimulate ovulation and sometimes surgery. Lifestyle changes advised.
2Pelvic Prolapse Treatment
Pelvic prolapse treatment focuses on addressing the displacement of pelvic organs, such as the bladder, uterus, or rectum, due to weakened pelvic support. Treatment options are: pelvic floor exercises, pessary and surgery (possible graft placement) based on age, severity and activity.
3Urinary Stress Incontinence Treatment
Urinary stress incontinence treatment focuses on leakage of urine during activities that put pressure on the bladder, such as coughing, sneezing, or exercising. Treatment includes pelvic floor exercises, pessary, and minimally invasive sling (surgery).
4Hormone Pellets Therapy
Hormone pellets therapy is a form of hormone replacement therapy that involves the insertion of small, rice-sized pellets containing hormones, typically estrogen and testosterone, under the skin (in the fat), usually in the buttock area. These pellets gradually release hormones into the bloodstream.
1Minimally Invasive Surgery
Minimally invasive surgery is a surgical technique that utilizes small incisions to perform both minor (laparoscopy) and major (hysterectomy) procedures with less trauma to the body and easier recovery compared to traditional open surgery. This approach often involves the use of Laparoscope.
2Laparoscopy
Laparoscopy is a minimally invasive surgical technique allowing surgeons to perform procedures using small incisions, typically less than an inch in size. This technique is commonly used for diagnostic and operative treating various conditions, including endometriosis, ovarian cysts, and much more.
3Menopausal Symptom Management
A comprehensive approach often includes lifestyle modifications, such as regular exercise, a balanced diet, and stress reduction techniques. Hormone replacement therapy (HRT) is very commonly used, helping to balance estrogen, testosterone, and progesterone levels.
4Cryosurgery
Cryotherapy is done with the patient lying in the same position used for taking a pap smear. A speculum is inserted and the cervix is touched with an instrument called a cryoprobe that rapidly freezes the abnormal tissue.
5LEEP
LEEP stands for Loop Electrosurgical Excision Procedure. It is used when your pap smear and colposcopy results have come back as being abnormal. It is an effective treatment for a condition known as dysplasia.
Offering Mesh-free Surgical Prolapse Repair
After having used different synthetic meshes for almost 15 years, I started over the past 5 years doing a mesh-free surgical prolapse repair, a human graft, 99% DNA-free, with a very low rejection rate and risk of complications while providing a strong pelvic floor support.
